South End Green Community Festival

This year the South End Green Festival was held on Sunday June 28. Run by South End Green Association, profits go towards supporting local initiatives that help make South End Green an even better neighbourhood to live and work in. Shelly our Community and Engagement Volunteer Manager, and Peter our Community Outreach Officer manned the Healthwatch Camden stall.

We attended the Primrose Hill Festival

On Saturday 27 June, Peter our volunteer co-ordinator attended the Primrose Hill Festival, a bi-annual event to raise money to fund the Village Christmas lights. It’s organised by The Primrose Hill Business Association – a group of local business people working together on a voluntary basis.

We were at the Kentish Town Community Festival

On Saturday 6 June, we attended the Kentish Town Community Festival. Shelly our Community and Engagement Volunteer Manager, and Peter our Community Outreach Officer manned our stall and handed out information to let people know about Healthwatch Camden’s role in the community, and also to get more volunteers.

We’ve reached our two year anniversary, and just published our second annual report, showing what we’ve achieved over the two years.  We’ve worked really hard to become a valuable voice in health and social care in Camden. Camden Carer’s Week

On Wednesday 10 June, we attended Camden Carer’s Week Health and Wellbeing Fair.We aim to champion the views of carer’s and other groups in our community that often go unheard, so Shelly our Community and Engagement Volunteer Manager, and Peter  our Community Outreach Officer gave out information about our work, and encouraged a two-way dialogue. We want everyone to be involved so that we can understand the issues that affect different communities.
