On Saturday 27 June, Peter our volunteer co-ordinator attended the Primrose Hill Festival, a bi-annual event to raise money to fund the Village Christmas lights. It’s organised by The Primrose Hill Business Association – a group of local business people working together on a voluntary basis.
At our stall Peter handed out information about our work, and encouraged people to volunteer with us. By attending events like this we’ve been able to give local people a bigger voice in how health and social care is delivered.
We’re here to make sure that children, young people and adults have a say in how our services are delivered. It benefits not just the people who use the services now, but anyone who might need to in future. That’s why we spend a lot of our time out and about, talking to local people.
