JUNIOR DOCTORS’ STRIKE SUSPENDED                               

• The 48-hour junior doctors’ strike scheduled to start at 8am on 26th January has been called off by the British Medical Association (BMA). However, the BMA has insisted a deal concerning the potential introduction of a new contract has not yet been reached, meaning a planned strike on 10th February could still go ahead if negotiations stall.
