Camden residents over 65 years can rent sheltered either from the council or a housing association. Sheltered housing provides a supportive environment for older vulnerable and disabled people in the community.
Residents can stay independent whilst benefiting from support and security. Sheltered housing schemes consist of self-contained unfurnished flats. Each has a scheme manager and a 24-hour monitored community alarm service.
