It has been great to work with local communities and organisations. We have successfully built on existing relationships and forged new ones. I would like to thank you all for your support and the fantastic collaborations we have completed this past year.

Do you want to be a PLACE volunteer?

We need two more volunteers to join our PLACE assessment team.

Our volunteers go to PLACE visits at local hospitals every year to provide a patient perspective. You’ll go into a local hospital as part of a team to assess how the environment supports patients’ privacy and dignity. You’ll also look at things like food, cleanliness and general building maintenance.

Our volunteers are given guidance on which areas to look at and how to rate the hospital, but you’ll also have a chance to input your own ideas.
