Our new Projects Officer spoke to people at some of Camden’s summer festivals

Liz Walker, our new Projects Officer was out and about this summer meeting local people and talking to them about health and social care in Camden.

Liz attended the Somerstown Festival on 14 July and the Camden Mela on the 15. Every summer we attend lots of local events and festivals around the Camden borough so that we can meet local people and get their views on health and social care services in Camden.

Liz collected people’s views via our ‘Your Voice Counts’ survey. Issues discussed included mental health, sexual health, young people and mental health, pollution/air quality and issues affecting our LGBT community.

Via our ‘Your Voice Counts Survey’ we aim to talk and listen to people from every part of our diverse community so that we can all help shape health and social care services to suit our needs.

You can always join us at Camden’s lively community festivals from June to August. We’re always looking for volunteers in the summer to help us collect local people’s views on health and social care services in Camden.
