Students at William Ellis and LaSWAP sixth form consortium rated the three most important issues that they want support on by schools and health professionals as: drugs, body image and school workload. (Links to videos highlighted in pink).
They spoke out for a video campaign running from 23 – 27 April on Healthwatch Camden’s Instagram page The students used role play to show the issues that they want teachers and health service providers to address.
Healthwatch Camden ran focus groups with the young people to give them the chance to speak up on the health issues that most affect them and their peers. Also to find out how the students prefer to be communicated to by health and social care service providers, decision-makers and schools.
They chose Instagram as a preferred medium to communicate on closely followed by Snapchat.
