In June we issued a report on dental service provision in Camden. It’s called ‘Accessing dental services in Camden: experiences of local people.’
Part of our remit is to make sure that local people help to shape health and social care services so that the diverse needs of our community is met.
We found out that local people are experiencing barriers to accessing dental care in Camden.
These barriers add to the already existing lack of motivation to attend dental appointments, unless there’s an emergency.
Despite these barriers, many of the people feel positive about their experience with dental care services in Camden.
We want to make sure that every voice counts in the delivery of health and social care services.
We tell health and social care service providers about local people’s experiences and have the power to make a difference.
Our report has produced good results for the local community. See the report to find out how.
