On Saturday 16th July, Shelly Khan our Community Engagement Manager attended the Castlehaven 30Fest, organised by the Castlehaven Community Association. Local residents young and old attended the event. Healthwatch Camden wants to know what local people think about our health and social care services, that’s why we attend so many community events over the year.
Shelly handed out leaflets, our annual report and new magazine so that people could find out more about what we do and how we can help them. We aim to issue the magazine bi-annually. It’s packed with information on what we’re up to, including research projects, meetings with local organisations, it lays out our priorities for the year and shows how we’re meeting them.
At the event we met local people and asked them to fill in our annual ‘Your Voice Counts’ survey, which gave people the opportunity to tell us what they think is important, working well and not so well in health and social care service provision.
Every voice counts. We really want to know what you think, we have a seat on the Health and Well-being board so if you tell us something matters we can report back.
Do let us know your thoughts below.
