We attended the AGM and Volunteer Coordinators’ Forum

Shelly Khan our Community and Engagement Volunteer Manager attended the AGM and Volunteer Coordinators’ Forum on 16th March.

Organised by the Volunteer Centre Camden, the AGM was a chance to hear what the Centre’s been up to this year, as well as their future plans. Volunteer Centre Camden announced that a number of volunteer coordinator forums will be arranged this year, volunteering fairs, including three supersized fairs with Volunteer Centre Islington in King’s Cross, and lots more.

Healthwatch Camden is always looking for volunteers. We welcome everyone from Camden’s diverse community.  You will get a say on what happens to the services in your local community. You will get valuable work experience tailored to your needs. You’ll be an active member of the local community, doing your part to make Camden a better place to live and work.

All you need to do is to contact us and tell us how much time you are willing to set aside and in what capacity you would like to volunteer in. We will find you an opportunity that suits your time and interest.

Volunteers have gained invaluable experience, such as events training, updating websites using Drupal and participating in research projects. We’ve got lots of interesting projects coming up in the next few months and especially welcome young members of our community.
