On Thursday 10 September we have our first ‘meet and greet icebreaker session’ for Healthwatch Camden volunteers, between 2 – 4pm.
The idea for the session is to share ideas and experiences from volunteers who have already attended one or more of our numerous events through-out Camden, and also to inform potential volunteers about our work, and define the roles that we can offer.
Volunteers will get the opportunity to find out more about our role in the community. We’re a valuable voice in health and social care in Camden. We give out information and advice and champion equality for local people.
Our seat on the Health and Wellbeing board gives us the power to influence the delivery and design of local service. We work in partnership with local organisations. We’re independent, transparent and accountable. Make your voice heard by contacting us with your experiences of health and social care, or volunteer with us.
We have lots of volunteering and intern positions. Volunteering positions include: Enter and view, mystery shoppers, researchers, and Healthwatch Champions. We’re inclusive and want people from every part of our local community to volunteer with us.
Volunteers get a say on what happens to the services in our local community. They also get valuable work experience. By volunteering with us, you’ll be an active member of the local community, and doing your part to make Camden a better place to live and work.
