On July 5 we attended the Alma Street Fair, organised by Inkerman Resident’s Association. Peter our Community Outreach Officer, manned the Healthwatch Camden stall.
Peter handed out our latest annual report, which is also available in Easy Read. He advised on the types of voluntary roles Healthwatch Camden offers, including Enter and view, mystery shoppers, researchers, and Healthwatch Champions.
Camden has marked differences in health experience and outcomes between its richest and poorest communities. Healthwatch Camden aims to help you and your family get the best out of local health and social care services.
We talk to children, young people and adults from the whole community at the local events we attend throughout the year. Every voice counts. Health and social care services are better when they recognise the specific needs of children, young people and adults.
We’re always looking for new volunteers and trustees. Let your voice be heard by volunteering with us. Take a look at our previous blog posts to get an idea of the sort of activities you’d be involved in. If you’re interested contact us!
