On Friday 15 May, we had a stall at the ‘Festival in the Park’ in Camley Street, organised by St Mungo Broadway to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week.
We know that there’s concern about the wellbeing of mental health in-patients, and we’re planning work on this to make sure we’re checking the things that matter most to the local community.
Shelly Khan our Community and Engagement Volunteer Manager, and Peter Joseph our Community Outreach Officer manned the stall and handed out information to let people know about our role in the community, and also to get more volunteers.
We’re out there talking and listening to people, and we’ll be at many events over the summer. You can be involved in shaping local health and social care services according to what our community needs by volunteering with us.
