We attended the ‘Shout Out’ 2015 conference

Healthwatch Camden is keen to engage with young people in Camden. Health and social care services are better when they recognise the specific needs of children, young people and adults.

So we attended the ‘Shout Out’ conference organised by LB Camden with the support and assistance of the Youth MP, members of the Youth Council and Youth Action Groups.

The aim of the day was to engage young people aged 13 – 19 in discussions on issues that are important to them. Young people who live, work or attend school/youth activities in Camden were invited.

Shelly our Community Engagement and Volunteer Manager manned a stall with Lindi our Communications Manager. They handed out leaflets and posters on Healthwatch Camden to encourage young people to talk to us about their experiences of using health and social care services in Camden. They also had an interactive board where young people could post their views.

Healthwatch Camden gives young people the power to improve local services. Young people can also talk to us via our Twitter and Facebook channels.
