Have you seen our BSL videos?

Local planning of health and social care services should include people from all communities and ages. Too many people across the country feel excluded.

One of our core principles is to champion equality. We want equal access, treatment and outcomes for all communities in our local area. So get involved and have your say.

To this end last week we developed more British Sign Language (BSL) videos for our website. You’ll find these videos throughout our website.

To start, why don’t you take a look at our introduction video which is signed and will give you an idea of who we are, what we want to do, and why we’re here to help you.

You can find out how local people have helped shape us by reading our model and mandate. Local people also volunteer for us both in the office at events. You can have your say by volunteering with us.

Over the past year we’ve met many people from the community and worked with local partners. There may be instances where we don’t get it right but we strive to work in a genuine and effective manner.

Our aim is to be the voice of local people in health and social care services. To do this successfully, we need your input, so contact us to share your experiences.
