On Wednesday 20 April, Carl our Business Co-ordinator attended the Volunteer Fair, organised by Volunteer Centre Camden.
We know the massive role the voluntary sector plays in the provision of health and social care services. We’d like to work in partnership with organisations and individuals so that together we can benefit our community.
At the event, Carl gave out information about our volunteer opportunities, such as Healthwatch Camden Champions and research volunteers. In particular we’re looking for a volunteer to update our Start Here …Guide. This role requires an understanding of CMS such as Drupal. The volunteer would get valuable office experience as well as a great skill to put on their CV. If you or anyone you know is interested, please let us know.
We’re inclusive, and encourage people from diverse communities to volunteer with us. By volunteering with us you’ll get a chance for your voice to be heard. We have real influence, our seat on the Health and Wellbeing board gives us the power to influence the delivery and design of local services.
